High-Quality Dentistry That Grows with Your Kids
A child’s smile is continually growing and developing, which means that it needs close monitoring to make sure their teeth are erupting, their bite is aligning, and good oral habits are established at an early age. When bringing your child to see Dr. Mandi and our team, we will give them the attention they deserve with a careful cleaning and examination so that any problem areas can be treated right away. If you’re ready to schedule your child’s appointment, give us a call today.

Kid’s Dental Checkups & Cleanings
Your child’s six-month dental visits will involve a gentle cleaning to remove existing plaque, tartar, and bacteria from their teeth and gumline. We’ll also take digital X-rays (if necessary) so that Dr. Mandi can see portions of the mouth that are invisible to the naked eye. After a thorough examination of your child’s mouth and digital scans, she will discuss any proposed treatment as well as helpful ways to encourage good oral hygiene at home.
Dental Sealants
When your child struggles to clean the hard-to-reach areas of the mouth – the molars and premolars – we can apply dental sealants. As clear coverings are placed over the pitted chewing surfaces of these teeth, sealants block out cavity-causing bacteria so that the potential for tooth decay is reduced. We’ll perform this painless and quick application during a regular dental checkup so that their teeth can remain protected for up to a decade.
Non-Nutritive Habits
Non-nutritive habits commonly include thumb sucking and overuse of a pacifier. While these behaviors are normal for infants, they can become problematic as your child grows older, resulting in abnormal jaw growth and tooth eruption. To reduce the chances of a misaligned bite in the future, our team will be happy to provide helpful ways to break these habits and better protect the development of their smile.
Pulp Treatment
When an infection forms within the inner chamber of your child’s tooth, the pulp can become impacted by harmful decay, resulting in serious pain. When this happens, Dr. Mandi can administer pulp treatment, which involves removing the affected pulp, cleaning out any remaining bacteria, rebuilding the inner portion of the tooth, and restoring it with a customized dental crown. Should this form of treatment be recommended, you can count on us to make sure your child remains safe and comfortable the entire time.
